Elmer "Archie" Fowler Stone (January 22, 1887 – May 20, 1936) was a United States naval aviator and a commander in the United States Coast Guard. After 54 hours in the air, Stone became the first man to pilot an aircraft across the Atlantic on May 31, 1919, when he and his crew landed their plane, the NC-4, in Plymouth harbor.
